We were very indecisive on what we wanted for lunch so we decided to go to the Emeryville Public Market for a variety of options. Found this Peruvian spot and it did not disappoint! We sat at the bar next to a happy customer which was refreshing. The aroma of spices was making me hungrier as the bar is in view of the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the free slider offered while we waited for our food! It was multiple samples of their sandwiches on the menu. Hey, WE LOVE FREE STUFF! Drinks and food were served promptly, everything was fresh, and flavorful. We received free sample of the sliders from the menu and it was so good! At first we thought the portion sizes were small so we ordered multiple things (we were starving ok?!) but then realized it was pretty filling lol we had lots of leftovers! Fyi- I ate my food the next day, it was just as delicious

The coleslaw had a nice light flavor! The rice and beans weren't what I expected but they had a good flavor and the chimichurri really helped with it! The sweet potato fries were crispy and the aioli was a perfect dipping sauce! The service was quick and efficient! The vibe at the public market is a perfect backdrop for this type of restaurant. Worth a visit!

My friend and I stopped in the public market in Emeryville. There were several little booths with different types of foods to choose from. There was quite a variety to choose from. We finally decided upon the Peruvian restaurant. The place like all the others was rather small. There were only about four tables, but it was still comfortable. I tried the pork roast sandwich that also had sweet potato on it. It was absolutely delicious. The combination of the flavors were really good. I definitely will have another. It was big enough that I was able to save half for my dinner. My friend got the pulled pork sandwich and she thought it was very good also The staff were very friendly and helpful

When I first entered I was greeted with warm smiles by the staff. I got the chicken skewers and it came with a salad bathed in a vinaigrette and two small potato slices, aswell as a side a green and yellow sauce. The chicken skewers were extremely juicy and tender. The marinade on the chicken was mouthwatering and when I had some of the salad it came with in the vinaigrette it felt like a flavor bomb in my mouth. The sauces on the side honestly weren't necessary because everything I ate had so much flavor but the sauces still tasted amazing aswell. I love this place! I'll definitely be back for other items.

While we were at the Public Market, our friend ordered a pollipapas at Paradita Eatery for us to try. It's basically loaded fries which includes chopped up fried chicken, creamy rocoto aioli, cilantro, feta cheese and a side of chimichurri sauce for a tanginess to cut the grease. Tasted great altogether! Though I felt $15.50 was a bit steep for fries, however this could be a meal! Service was fast and friendly. Love that we can grab so many types of cuisine at the public market! It's not your typical mall food court. Better quality than we expected!

I wanted to try something new for the both of us and we chose this place. The staff member asked if we wanted a sample so of course we gave it a try. And wow. Oh wow. We got a sample of the Lomito al Jugo. It was so good that I ordered it. Yes, the sample worked. While we waited for our food I was checking out their decor. There's a row of seating available inside. Simple decor, which is nice as it doesn't take away from the experience of tasting the food. When I got my order of Lomito al Jugo, I was so excited. It really is that good. The flavors were addicting. Everything was seasoned well and I didn't feel gross after eating anything. He also gave us a sample of the flan, which was good too. Not too sweet, just right.

Was craving chicken for lunch and this was the perfect spot! Pollo A La Brasa - 4.5/5 - Perfectly seasoned combining savory Latin flavors with slightly charred skin. Ordered half a chicken (1 drumstick and parts of thighs/breast) and I could barely finish it all. The Huancaina sauce was amazing, reminding my of a high quality cheese dip. The chimichurri was also bursting with flavor. Combining the chicken with these sauces turned brought my tastebuds to flavortown! Fries - 4/5 - I am a fry aficionado and I must say these fries were a hit! Crunchy, good thickness, and had flavor. They were moderately greasy, which could be good or bad depending how you're feeling. Near the end I shredded some chicken and made the perfect bite with chicken+fries+both sauces. Extremely generous with the amount too! Prepare to share or have leftover fries. Service was friendly and fast. Ambience was clean and had plentiful seating. Will come back to try more of their menu!
